Bethesda Game Studios published its most substantial official update on The Elder Scrolls VI in months, confirming that the game remains the studio's primary development focus. Bethesda announced that both The Elder Scrolls VI and Fallout 5 are being developed on Creation Engine 3, describing it as a shared technology platform built since Starfield's launch that enables multiple projects to be developed simultaneously with new rendering, world, and systems technology. The studio stated that the majority of Bethesda Game Studios is now working on TES6 and reaffirmed that development is progressing as planned, saying, "We're where we planned to be, loving how it looks, and playing it every day." The update also confirmed that Fallout 5 has entered pre-production while The Elder Scrolls VI remains Bethesda's primary active project.
