Internal Microsoft/ZeniMax forecast projects TES6 between 2024–2026

Internal Microsoft and ZeniMax planning materials created around the period of Microsoft's acquisition of Bethesda parent company ZeniMax Media projected The Elder Scrolls VI for a release window roughly corresponding to 2024–2026. The internal forecast also included projected windows for Starfield, Redfall, Indiana Jones, Oblivion Remastered, and several other Bethesda projects. In later years, many of those projects slipped substantially beyond their originally projected windows — including Starfield moving from a projected 2021 launch to 2023, Indiana Jones shifting from 2022 to 2024, and Oblivion Remastered eventually releasing in 2025 instead of its earlier projected timeframe. Within the TES community, the widespread slippage across Bethesda's roadmap became one of the strongest arguments that TES6 itself had likely shifted significantly beyond its earlier internal targets as well.
